$23,000 per MONTH????
This was posted on a military discussion forum by a an individual who operated as private security in Iraq. Blackwater USA is a private security company in Iraq funded by taxpayer money. This is how our money is spent:

I just finished a 51/2 month stint as a hired gun in Iraq...Why would there be no exit out??Its a no win situation over there..I felt very bad for US.Troops(all) not having proper body armor,Armored Humvee's,poor training, many too young and the Wheels of companies making so much money..Haliburton 12 billion dollars charging the US Government $16 dollars per man to eat in their defac's this was all about OIL..I've seenno rebuilding in Iraq..I've protected nothing but SUV's,Weapons,Computers,Cars,Dodge Ram 150 trucks,sebering, Camrys and for what? I went there to make money as a contractor but when you see lives lost,limbs blown off,amputees it makes things different..When ever I passed a check point I would stop my SUV and say hey guys whats up!! If I had a moment I would talk with the troops and ease their taughts just to get a smile on their face's and give them my coolers of cold water,soda's,cookies,chips, and let them know I cared..Some would say ''Why do you care? You make 10-15 times the amount that I make a month! Because I care...Many contractors are making 10-24 thousand dollars a month in Iraq..Tax free..I was hit by a IED that was up on a box in tall grass outside Taji killed the Kurdish man sitting next to me(right side shooter) the man behind me had severe head injuries 6-7 pieces of metal impacted to his skull..5 of my friends died there and some are amputees..When is enough and what about our Veterans when they return who will help them? My insurance is taking care of my bills and paying me until I return to top shape, my right ear drum,inner ear was destroyed because of the blast, 7 months ago I was a top triathlete,runner,racer,professional trainer..The doctors say I will regain maybe 70-75% of my balance, but no hearing.. Now the insurance companies want to settle? But the Veterans don't get anything near that kind of treatment? Why?Maybe we should help those by giving them hope and compassion than saying maybe they shouldnt buy game boys,DVD's,SUV's,and every thing else that AFEE'S is selling? Who's making the money off of it? Think about it? Its not US!! After leaving Iraq I was offered 23,000 a month to work for another company(Security) I told the guy to kiss my A##!! Money can't do anything if you're not here to spend it..And from a wheel chair thats not living for me..I'm sorry..

that is so much crap. sour grapes. i have never heard of bullcrap like that. post the name of the guy, i want to tell him personally. i can't believe how many whinners there are in this world.
